The table above shows the primary characteristics people look for in each e-bike, which can skew your preferences towards one of the makers. City bikes should be chosen best suitable for commuting through the streets and not just based on their numbers, so choose wisely and find the perfect balance between value and performance.
Performance:
KBO Breeze has the most incredible range with its 768W battery, and Radpower Radcity comes in second with a 672W battery.
Power:
Radpower has a powerful motor at 750W with Mokwheel and KBO, keeping a good motor at 500W, and Aventon with a smaller motor at 350W.
Speed:
Mokwheel and KBO have a higher speed than the others at 22MPH, but all these bikes are roughly the same, at a range of 20~22, which is perfectly enough for city e-bikes.
Price:
Mokwheel costs the least at $1,199, and Radcity has the highest price at $1,599, which is expected due to slightly higher performance than the others.
Design:
Aventon has the sleekest and finesses design where the battery is entirely hidden. Mokwheel comes in second, with only the top of their battery showing with a bright orange frame. Next comes KBO, who also has a part of their battery hidden, and last is Radpower, who has it all out there in the open.
Add-ons:
Add-ons: All the bikes come with installed front and back fenders and lights except for Aventon, who offers none of the above.
The table above shows apparent differences and analyses of details you should pay attention to for a better riding experience. The differences here are relatively narrow.
Weight Capacity:
Mokwheel Mesa City can hold up to 30lbs on their bikes, while Aventon and KBO can hold up to 300lbs and Radpower slightly less.
Charging:
Mesa City and KBO Breeze come with a 3.0A charger, which means you charge 1.5x faster than the other two bikes.
The half-twist throttle is the preferred option for many e-bike enthusiasts, and it is much easier to have complete control than you would on a thumb throttle.

When purchasing your first e-bike, you need to pay attention to the warranty, returns, shipping, and customer support. Lack of customer service and product service is critical to any customer’s experience.
Warranty:
Mokwheel and Himiway offer a 2-year warranty with 15-day returns compared to Aventon and Radpower, which only provide a 1-year warranty and 14-day returns.
Assembly:
They’re all equally similar and come mostly assembled out of the box, and customers will only need to do the minimal assembly.
Shipping:
All include free shipping to the lower 48 states, but Aventon does not cover the shipping for its parts under $100. But Aventon takes the longest to process their orders, from 2-5 business days, while the rest only take 48hours.
No other e-Bikes have been as closely competing as these three. But the ultimate question is—which one is the most value-for-money? The Mokwheel Mesa City costs the least along with Aventon Pace 350, but at the same time, Mesa City offers much more performance and add-ons to go with the bike, ensuring a better customer experience.
